Alicia is a skilled technologist with nearly 10 years of experience manging software as a service product. Prior to joining the Grassroots team Alicia worked in the non-profit sector managing multi-media projects at the Center for Governmental Studies. At CGS she helped develop early SaaS (though it was not called that at the time) applications used for voter education in partnership with the League of Women Voters. Alicia earned a BA (with some latin) in Women's Studies from UCLA.

GRE makes Canadian history.
In 2004, a GRE campaign to pressure the Canadian federal government to fairly share revenue from off-shore oil drilling with the province of Newfoundland and Labrador resulted in a landmark agreement and became the most effective online movement in Canadian history.
