Bob is a software industry veteran with over 20 years experience developing systems ranging from Internet applications to flight simulators. Prior to GRE, he was the Director of Software Engineering at Health Hero Network, a startup company developing Internet-based communication tools that link healthcare providers and chronically ill patients. He has also worked as Software Development Manager and Director of Technical Services at Rational Software Corporation, an industry leader in software development tools and methodologies. GRE seized the coming of the 2006 winter Olympics to demonstrate the power of combining creativity and technology.
To advocate for voting rights for the District of Columbia, GRE drew comparison to other U.S. territories such as Puerto Rico and Guam who have their own Olympic teams, and established a DC Olympic Curling Team to make a bid for participation in the quirky sport at the Games in Turin, Italy.
