WASHINGTON, DC -- Grassroots Enterprise, a public affairs firm specializing in high-impact ways to recruit, retain and mobilize stakeholders, today announced that Kim Breslin has joined the staff of its Washington, D.C. office. Breslin comes to Grassroots with a vast array of experience marketing a range of cutting-edge technology companies, including PeopleSoft, Flycast Communications, PeoplePC and Road Runner.
Breslin also brings experience on the political fundraising front, including a stint as an instrumental member of a record-breaking fundraising team during the 1998 election cycle for the National Republican Congressional Committee.
"Kim's combination of marketing and fundraising expertise represents yet another great step forward for our strategic service offerings," said Arvind Rajan, Grassroots president and CEO. "We are delighted to have Kim on board."
During her career, Breslin has developed, implemented and directed many integrated marketing campaigns -- online and offline -- from acquisition, lead management and customer relationship programs, to issue advocacy outreach, and database analysis. She also has a solid background in fundraising and advocacy. In addition to her time at the NRCC, she has also worked with Citizens for a Sound Economy during their aggressive campaign to implement the Army/Shelby Flat Tax plan, and with Public Opinion Strategies, performing research for a range of winning freshman Congressmen during the historic 1994 election cycle.
"I have worked with Kim for over a decade, and have seen first hand what an astounding ability she has to get results and save valuable time for clients," said Shane Tews, senior Washington representative for Verisign, Inc. "She knows what to say, who to talk to, and just how to use her extensive background and abilities in grassroots management."
"Grassroots Enterprise has built a strategic services team that is unrivaled, and I am delighted to be a part of it," said Breslin.
Breslin can be reached at Kim.Breslin@grassroots.com.
