Grassroots Enterprise Wins "Most Innovative Technology of the Year" Award at Innovate to Motivate Conference

(WASHINGTON, D.C., February 01, 2006) Grassroots Enterprise, a firm specializing in building grassroots support for causes, products, and companies, today was given the "Technology Innovation of the Year" award for its work on the innaugural podcast for Senator John Edwards in the spring of 2005. The award was given by the Showalter Group at its annual "Innovate to Motivate" conference.
The award was part of the Group's annual recognition of "Political Involvement Innovation."

The podcast itself was produced by Grassroots Enterprise, and recorded in March of 2005. Within the span of days, it generated hundreds of blog hits, an increase in web site traffic of nearly 10,000%, and major media coverage ranging from the Washington Post to the Daily Show.
